The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has agreed to the proposal to organize fireworks displays in Quang Ninh province. Cities such as Ha Long, Cam Pha and Mong Cai will set off fireworks displays to celebrate major holidays.

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the mining area (April 25, 1955 - April 25, 2025), on the evening of April 25, at 12/11 Square, Cam Pha City, Quang Ninh Province, an art program will take place to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Mining Area with the theme "Indomitable Mining Area - Aspiration for Power".

This is a meaningful activity to honor the history of the steadfast revolutionary struggle, remember the contributions of generations of miners and people in the mining area. At the same time, promote the typical values, culture, and people of Quang Ninh with the tradition of "Discipline and Unity", thereby expressing deep gratitude to the ancestors who contributed to building and defending the country.

Besides the special art program in the celebration, the program will end with a fireworks display that is highly anticipated by the people and tourists.

At 8:00 p.m. on April 26, at the outdoor stage of the Special National Monument Square of President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site on Co To Island, the 2025 Summer Tourism Opening Program will take place with the theme "Co To - Where the Waves Call the Sun".

The opening program of Co To Summer Tourism 2025 will be a special art performance and folk music festival. Through musical melodies, lyrics, and dances, it will depict a Co To with unique nature, heroic history, diverse marine culture, and economic tourism potential that is moving towards an increasingly prosperous and bright future.

At the same time, through the performances, people and tourists reviewed the heroic historical traditions of the nation, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), introducing and promoting the historical and cultural values, resources, tourism products and cultural activities that will take place in 2025 in Co To island district.

Before that, from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., people and tourists can participate in the launch program "Discovering the sunset on Co To Island" with activities: taking photos with the beautiful sunset, taking photos with mermaids, and experiencing cuisine in Co To.

Also on April 26 and 27, the Van Don Sea Tourism Festival 2025 with the theme "Love Song of the Sea" will be held for the first time at Ninh Hai beach, Minh Chau commune, Van Don district.

Ninh Hai village beach is one of the most beautiful beaches of Minh Chau island, standing out with its long stretch of smooth white sand and cool, clear blue sea water. The space here becomes more poetic when surrounded by primeval cajuput forests, creating a harmonious, peaceful and ideal natural landscape for sea tourism activities.

The event will bring visitors unique experiences amidst the majestic natural scenery of Bai Tu Long Bay.

Within the framework of the Van Don Sea Tourism Festival 2025, many exciting and attractive activities will take place such as: Experiential activities, sports, cuisine... creating highlights to attract tourists to visit, experience and relax.

Along with Cam Pha City, on the evening of April 30, Mong Cai City will also set off fireworks for 15 minutes in the art program "Mong Cai - Rising in the new era" at the Square of the City's Media and Culture Center.

The program includes art performances, fashion shows; drone light shows forming tourist attractions... Thereby, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere during the holidays, attracting people and tourists to participate in cultural, sports and tourism events in Quang Ninh.

Immediately after that, on the evening of May 1, in the Ha Long Carnival 2025 program, taking place at the coastal area of Dai Duong Park, Bai Chay ward, Ha Long city, high-altitude fireworks will be fired at 9:30 p.m. for 15 minutes.

This year, Ha Long Carnival 2025 takes place with the gathering of thousands of professional actors, artists, international art troupes, and artisans. With the theme: "Ha Long Carnival 2025 - Connecting heritage, pioneering the shine", the program consists of 4 parts, including: Opening art program; Ha Long Carnival grand ball; DJ performance; high-altitude fireworks display.

The highlight of the program is the convergence of intangible heritages across the three regions, honoring national identity on the background of world natural wonders combined with modern technologies such as: 3D mapping, laser, light show. The Ha Long Carnival 2025 grandstand is also the largest designed grandstand ever with a total of 15,000 seats to serve the people and tourists (an increase of 5,000 seats compared to 2024).

The brilliant high-altitude fireworks display in Ha Long Carnival 2025 promises to create a spectacular night for locals and tourists.
